In Wayanad landslide prone areas, people who have completely lost their homes and places they lived in are going through severe mental problems. This affects their personal and social life on a long-term basis. Scientific interventions in the field of mental health are needed to combat this dangerous situation. Applications are invited from qualified and experienced volunteers for Counseling Project initiated by Youth Commission with the objective of providing psychological empowerment through scientific counsel, therapy and medication to those who remain in disaster areas, escape with injuries, lost loved ones and face mental difficulties in such traumas.
